![]() This is almost a humiliation to Glowstick Entertainment because the first trailer's literally out. It's funny to toy fans' feelings around all the time, of course. And right in the last week, the week of the most excitement, a delay. It is so much more acceptable hearing that C4 still needed a long while than "it would be coming soon" because it cuts a lot of unnecessary hope and disappointment every time Vince comes back saying that C4 is going to take another "little while." This might sound confusing, but my point is that Vince should've just said that C4 is long from out instead of spreading false hope, because false hope creates more than triple the amount of disappointment. ![]() Constantly saying that it's coming out soon only adds on to the disappointment because it's so much worse knowing that Chapter 4 is far from out when Vince promised the fans that it would be out soon. This is a critical problem because every false "coming out real soon" comment sparks hope in a portion of fans (or maybe all of them). That only opens up to the next few points, about why this delay is utterly unacceptable.Ģ.) What Vince should have done instead: State that there are too many bugs, and Chapter 4 will be coming out late, instead of insisting on how "it's coming soon, coming soon" It does sound ominous to force Vince to work on Chapter 4 for such a long period of time without rest, but there are people waiting, waiting every day and anticipating or hoping that Chapter 4 will really come out even if it seems unreal in some ways. Why couldn't Glowstick focus on the game for once-DLC, DD mobile, the raps, and Evil Nun have distracted them so much that it doesnt seem possible Chapter 4's release date isn't affected by that. Any release date in the future about Chapter 4 or 5 would highly likely to be ignored because, after all the false release dates from Chapter 3 and 4, it would be harder than ever to trust the release date of a newer game. Further reasons why this is so unacceptable would be stated later, but nobody will possibly ever trust Glowstick again after this delay. Delaying it is openly throwing away any trust the fans have for years. This is especially nodding to the fans-an unknown game company is more important than every one fan that waited for Chapter 4. But this, when Chapter 4 can clearly be out the same week, when it's unnecessary already to need any more help (even if it's from some giant company nobody cared about) when two whole years have already been spent on the game. I think all people who started playing since a while ago remember the feeling of Chapter 3 being delayed, and the stronger feeling of distrust each time Vince delays? It's frustrating, but sometimes easy to understand when Vince states how only three people are working on an entire chapter-that's understandable. I want to expand the ideas of why people are so disappointed in this delay in this thread, and if you have an opinion, please comment below.ġ.) Delaying in the last week, when so many people are anticipating the most, utterly shatters any trust left from loyal fans to the game. More than a third of them quit the community. ![]() Except this time it's so much more critical than every other delay and I collected many opinions about it. ![]() ![]() So it's quite a surprise that Vince delayed, again, about Chapter 4. ![]()
